EDU 295 Reflections: Day 3

I sort of started the day by taking over the class.  Mrs. Burnes opened class with a general discussion (including an add-on about homebound instruction), which prompted me to speak up and share some of my many resources, both my own sites/materials and my personal favorites:

Mrs. Burnes also shared her Quad Dominoes activity, which could be implemented in different ways (warm ups, review, remediation, etc.).  She shared her template as well as sample sets and put out a request to me asking if I could think about how to make an interactive virtual version of the activity.  Of course I'm always up for a tech challenge, so I immediately jumped into it and come up with an ActivInspire flipchart.  We then spent part of the time in the library as the librarian presented on the ins and outs of tablets, from the basics between the iOS and Android devices to specific apps that can be useful in general life as well as education.  The afternoon was spent on group work.
